Encrypted Notes

Frictionless UI. Extensive set of features. Complete privacy.

Pick three.

Encrypted Notes is a note-taking app that mimics the “Note to Self” feature of your favorite messenger. But, on top of that, all notes are full Markdown, support all kinds of embeds, and can be turned into publishable articles.

All your notes are searchable , including the text in images.

All of that is completely private and end-to-end encrypted.

Unintrusive AI

Select a block of text and ask AI to rewrite it. Type “/ai” followed by your prompt to make it write something for you.

AI features are opt-in, disabled by default.

We support many AI providers and give you tools to make it yours. Yes, Mistral is supported too. Select any model. Edit the system prompt. Connect your MCPs.

AI tokens are billed separately, and you can even bring your own AI.

The default AI that we have, powered by Cerebras , is the fastest in the world. It can write a 2000-characters-long essay on pizza in half a second. It’s good at non-pizza things too.

AI features is the only thing that is not encrypted end-to-end, because AI needs to see your prompt in plain text to act on it — you probably deduced that one already. We don’t link your prompts back to you. All we collect is how many tokens you used this month, so you can be billed accordingly.

Pricing

$10/mo, with 5 GB of storage included.

Additional storage is $5 per 200 GB per month.

AI tokens are billed separately at AI provider’s rate, with no additional charges from us.

A message from our founder

Imagine you need to write something down, right now. A rogue thought. A dream that you want to preserve right after you woke up. An idea that, if you don’t save it in text, will disappear forever.

Where are you going to go without being profiled?

You’re safe here. Your writing won’t be picked apart and scanned by AI and algorithms. You won’t be put on a list for contemplating insensitive thoughts in your private digital space. Data brokers won’t screw you over because of it 10 years later.

Because the words “your” and “private” mean something here.

Your life was measured, digitized and put up for sale for way too long. It ends now.
